I diagnose and treat inflammatory musculoskeletal conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, lupus, ankylosing spondylitis and vasculitis.
This includes conditions such as frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis), tendonitis, plantar fasciitis.
As a rheumatologist I treat many conditions with steroid injections into joints either as a temporary measure, or sometimes with curative intent.
In accordance with national guidance, I have stopped face-to-face consultations unless urgent. I am able to provide telephone appointments for patients over the next several weeks and in many instances I am able to provide an insight into the diagnosis and potential treatment.
